Nanotechnology (2025)
Challenge 1
"There has been evidence that exposure to ClotBots in utero can increase the risk of blood-clotting disorders later in life." This might be a challenge because this means that people know about the negative impacts this nanotechnology has on the human body, but still continues to suggest using it on people. This might lead to the health of patients decreasing even more from the known, and unknown effects of using this nanotechnology.
Challenge 2
"Why can't they just let me do the job as I've been trained to do?" This might be a challenge because doctors are told to do as this nanotech bot say s to do, but doctors go through a lot of professional training to know how to treat patients correctly. Bots will only gather information and analyse it according to what they know, which isn't everything, where as doctors can do research, find out more and connect the information more logically compared to a bot with no actual human feelings and knowledge. This might lead to doctors being told how to treat a patient by bots but the doctors may have their own ideas, this would complicate the whole situation, creating conflict.
Challenge 3
"The unions are concerned about what it may mean for staffing levels, especially when nanotech is combined with drones and co-bots." This might be a challenge because although new tech is helpful to doctors, it would affect their lives, source of income, if nanotech took over in a hospital. This might lead to the loss of many doctors, in the future there may become less and less doctors, meaning all the medical knowledge people have been discovering may slowly decrease.
Challenge 4
"The Nanofirst nano cysts will dissolve the clot." This might be a challenge because it doesn't say how the person can get rid of the Nanotech after it is used, if it is being used in the body there has to be a way to get Ito out because it is not made from materials that the body can break down. This may lead to future health issues caused by these nanotech particles.
Challenge 5
"Hopefully the Nanocysts will be able to be cleared from her system without any difficulty" This might be a challenge because this shows that the doctors are worried about the nanotechnology staying inside the body, and if it getting expelled from the body will cause more problems. This may lead to patients health being endanger because doctors aren't 100% if their nanotech can be removed safely
Challenge 6
"Nanofirst are not designed for long term function." This might be a challenge because nano first are being used for such important medical procedures, that could take a long time to complete. So doctors don't know what will happen if it does function for too long, but they are still using it. This may lead to unnecessary problems for the patient and doctors that may impact the wellbeing of the patient.
Challenge 7
"Several complaints about adverse events have been lodged with the TGA by the families of Nanofirst stroke parents." This might be a challenge because it is known that Nanofirst technology is causing severe problems to the patients, but still Nanofirst claims that they are safe to use. This may lead to more patients health getting affected negatively.
Challenge 8
"But as usual his virtual assistance has misunderstood which issues are important for human health and wellbeing." These doctors are being provided with bot helpers to help them identify and find solutions for their patients, but the bots fail to give the the right information to cure the patients. This may to lead to less experienced doctors listening to the advice by the bot and treating the patients wrongly, worsening their health.
Underlying Problem
The use of nanotechnology has significantly impacted the working way for paramedics. They are being told by bots how to treat their patients, even though the paramedics have their own solutions on how to treat that patient. For example the doctors aren't sure if the nanotechnology being put inside the human body can safely come out of the human body. They are cautious with the use of nanotechnology throughout the medical industry. How might we develop new ways for doctors/paramedics to use nanotechnology, so that doctors can use nanotech trustingly for human wellbeing in the year 2042 and beyond in Queensland.
Solution 1
Robotic Engineers can upgrade the nanobots so that they are able to be used as a research source and be able to memorise information. This way doctors can use the nanobots to research for a patients issue and then the doctors can save the information that the doctor wants the bot to memorise. This way as time goes on the bot will have the knowledge that the doctor prefers and will be able to make decisions for the doctor that are similar to the doctors thinking.
Solution 2
Nanotechnology engineers can create controls for the nanoparticles being inserted into the humans body. This way the doctors can keep track of where the nanoparticles is and when it has done the job, they can remote control the nanotechnology out of the humans body safely.
Solution 3
scientists can work to gather with nanotechnology engineers to make the nanoparticles detectable by x-rays. This way the doctors can use x-rays to see where the nanoparticles are in the body and they could suck it out or do a small surgery to remove the nanotechnology from the human body.
Solution 4
Nanotechnology designers can design the nanobot helpers for the doctors so that it has memory and can hear the doctors talking to them. This way the doctors could treat the bots as actual learner doctors and give it important information and it would be able to remember it. This way in the future when dianosing the patient the bot would have a lot of knowledge from the doctor and be able to help the patent.
Solution 5
scanner engineers and nanotechnology engineers can work together to develop a new skill for the nanobots. The nanobots will be able to scan the issue of the body whether it is internal or external, it will scan the body and identify all the issues of it. This way it helps the doctor find solutions to the problems without actually telling the doctor what to do, which may be different to the actual solution.
Solution 6
Nanotech engineers, x-ray engineers and doctors will develop the nanobot so that it can scan for the nano cysts and issues with the body, they will alsocreate a special nano syringe. This way the nanobots not only help doctors identify the issue but also they can help identify where the nanobots are by scanning the body of a pateint, they will then use the nano syringe to extract the nanoparticles. The syringe will attract the nanoparticles like magnets and it will suck it into the syringe then the doctors can remove it when the Leith shines green. The syringe will be very small since nanoparticles are so small so that the patients barely feels anything.
Solution 7
Scientists and engineers of nano cysts can create a new design for nano cysts. Instead of using the material that cannot be broken down by the body they will find a more natural material that can be broken down with the stomach acid. This way when the nano cysts are done being used it travel through the blood stream into the stomach where it can be dissolved and removed from the body.
Solution 8
scientists and nano particle engineers can create nanocytsts made of glucose. The nano cyst is breathed in then it travels through the blood stream to where it needs to be used and when it's done it travels though the blood to get pumped around the body where the glucose material it is made of can be used during respiration to make energy and carbon dioxide for the body, this way the nanoparticles are used and expelled while benefiting the health of the pateint.

Solution #:
1
Summary:
Instead of the nanobots making decisions for doctors based off research from across the whole world, doctors will give the bots the knowledge that they think are most important. This way the solutions the bot comes up with will be more relevant to the situation happening at the time
Advantages:
-Nanobots decision will be more relevant to the situation
-The nanobots solutions will be similar to the doctors thinking so the doctor may like it more
-sometimes when doctors forget somethings that are impotant in treating the patients, the nabobs will remember and suggest it to the doctor, since the nanobot has memory
Limitations:
-The knowledge is very small it isn't broad, so the doctor won't get information from other scientist research that may help the patient
-the doctor will think his solutions are the only right ones
-The bot wouldn't have multiple outcomes of what it could be since knowledge is very little
Unique Possibilities:
-The doctors could start selling bots with this knowledge to patients so that they can treat themselves, or at least find out what to do

Summary:
Nanobots will identify where the used nano first nano cysts are, so that doctors can use a tiny syringe to remove the nano cysts, by attracting it the syringe and sucking it out.
Advantages:
-qeasy way to remove the nanoparticles
-non-painful way to remove it
-doesn't involve nanoparticles going into the environment
Limitations:
-There may be nanoparticles in deep areas of the body which may be hard to get
-It wouldn't be good to poke a syringe into organs if the nanoparticles were there
-Time consuming the nano cysts could be really spread out in the body
Unique Possibilities:
-could use the syringe to put the nano cysts into the body
Action Plan
Solution number five will be a new upgraded version of the technology the doctors used to get. This solution allows doctors to trust the bots as it provides accurate scans just like x-rays. This is a newly developed way to treat patients and make the use of nano cysts safe as now it can be removed safely, without harming the patients.
The nanobots will now have a built in scanner to scan the patients full body, it will identify the location of the nanoparticles and show the doctors on its screen. The doctors will now use the special syringe with built in sensor and attractor. The syringe is really small so the patient will not feel any pain. The doctor will insert into the body, the attractor will attract the the nanoparticles nearby, this makes it ears so that doctors don't have to state around to find just one nanocyst. When the sensor senses that the nanocytsts are in the syringe then light at the top will shine green so tell the doctor to remove the syringe. An obstacle this solution may face is the fact that if nanoparticles were identified in important and weak organs, it may be dangerous to insert a needle into it. But this can be overcome by the intelligent doctors, they can find ways to wash the nanocysts out of that area into somewhere else where it isn't dangerous to use a needle.
This solution positively impacts the Future Scene as the scanners on the bot make it easier for the doctors to identify the issue, instead of make the doctors job harder and giving the treatment ideas that the doctors are against, but it also helps with removing the nanofirst nanocysts that doctors were worried about not being able to remove them. Doctors will have more trust and accept this technology more as it provides actually useful information, without interfering with the doctors decisions. At the same time is improves the treatment for patients by providing this information, so doctors can use nanotechnology trustingly to improve the wellbeing of patients.
This solution best allows doctors to make their own informed decision for the treatment of patients, while still providing helpful information for the doctors to use quickly. This solution best develops nanotechnology as it combines multiple technologies with nanotech to create a very useful tool in the medical industry for doctors. This technology is trustworthy to doctors because it is the actual scan of a person, instead of information from everywhere to make decisions for them. This solution best benefits the wellbeing of patients since it helps remove the nanoparticles from their body very efficiently. This best improves the use of nanotechnology because by using nanotechnology it solves the issues caused by using nanotechnology.
